MY-TOWN considers it important to provide equal and accessible service to the entire public, including people with disabilities. We are continually working to improve the accessibility of the website and the company’s digital services.

Website accessibility

The website is reviewed and improved in accordance with the principles of Israeli Standard SI 5568 for web content accessibility, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines. Review and improvement work is ongoing. This statement does not constitute legal certification or a representation that every part of the website fully complies with all requirements of the standard.

Accessibility adjustments implemented

  • A link for skipping directly to the main content has been added.
  • A clear focus indicator has been added for keyboard users.
  • Accessible names have been added to the contact form fields.
  • Accessible names have been added to the language selector.
  • Support for the operating system or browser reduced-motion preference has been added.
  • The main Hebrew, English and French pages include a language declaration, main content region and heading structure.

Known accessibility limitations

Despite our efforts to improve the website’s accessibility, some components may not yet be fully accessible. Matters currently under review and remediation include alternative text for project images, the floating WhatsApp link, third-party components, downloadable documents and media content. Additional manual testing is also required using keyboard navigation, a screen reader, zoom and content reflow.
